Meet the Expert: Immaculich Rani

Our "Meet the Expert" series introduces you to our team of experts around the world. This "behind the curtain" view will help you get to know who we are on a professional and personal level, and highlight how our colleagues work together on our higher purpose to improve patient health and safety throughout the complete product lifecycle.

Meet Immaculich Rani, Principal Clinical Trials Disclosure Specialist

What is one lesson you've learned in this industry that has most helped you?

The one lesson I have learned that has most helped me is to respect each other, whether that is as colleagues working within different roles or designations, different time zones, or having different opinions and beliefs. Having a foundation of respect is an essential starting point when collaborating.

What do you like best about working with clients?

What I like best about working with clients is the sharing of knowledge that takes place within our trusted partnerships. There is an exchange of views, opinions, and ideas that is mutually beneficial and has personally helped me with my professional development.

Tell us about a day in the life of a Principal Clinical Trials Disclosure Specialist

As a subject matter expert in clinical trials disclosure, my role is to ensure all documents adhere to our high quality standards, so a typical day includes performing quality review of completed disclosure deliverables (protocol registrations/updates or results postings), providing direct one-on-one mentorship, and addressing any queries to help find solutions across a variety of topics relating to clinical trials disclosure. I also function as a single point of contact with clients, and on a daily basis am responsible for scheduling and timeline management/oversight as well as primary communication with the client including addressing any client queries.

Tell us a little bit about yourself outside of work.

Outside of work, I love to participate in social activities. I spend my weekends in choir practices and outdoor adventure sports.

What is unique about our culture at ProPharma?

In my experience, what I have found most unique about ProPharma's culture is the respect and support that employees have for each other. Irrespective of the designation that one holds, in time of crisis/urgent deliveries, everyone on the team steps up for support (even if it is not their tasks) and this has helped in reducing the stress on an individual, and in delivering high-quality documents on time.
