Patient Support Programs
ProPharma offers extensive Patient Support and Commercial Services to support our clients’ customers and patients by providing bespoke, best-in-class global Patient Support around the world. Our diverse team of global contact centers and certified field partners support patients and healthcare professionals worldwide in obtaining, understanding, and adhering to therapies for a well-rounded customer journey.
Core Services
Our skilled team members provide global Patient Support Services to ensure that our client’s patients, and their caregivers, have a better understanding of the disease-state, the prescribed medication or device, and the proper administration of their therapy. We can support patients and their caregivers with direct instructional assistance from healthcare providers in person. by phone, or through digital channels. We accomplish all of this by providing:
- Disease state education and awareness
- Instructional assistance – Drug Administration
- Adherence outreach
- Patient Helpline support
- Connections to advocacy and support programs
Access and Reimbursement Services
ProPharma has a full suite of reimbursement support services to provide to drug manufacturers and medical device companies with support for their patient's therapeutic journey, including:
- Patient Intake/Onboarding - Initiation of intake service via fax, phone, or online solutions.
- Verification of Benefits – Provide support to verify patient eligibility for the patient’s prescribed therapy.
- Prior Authorization Support - Facilitate the Prior Authorization process, if required, for the patient to qualify for coverage.
- Appeals Support - Assist patients with the appeal process in the event of a Prior Authorization denial.
- Copayment/Financial Assistance - Enable access to manufacturer copayment assistance and other financial vehicles including Medicaid enrollment, Extra Help & Charitable Foundations to help with the cost of therapy for patients.
- Patient Assistance Programs – Provide patient eligibility checks and prescription processing for access to manufacturer-sponsored Patient Assistance Programs that provide therapy at no cost for eligible patients.
- Patient Concierge Services – Support patients in arranging travel, lodging, and meals for patients who require therapy-related visits to treatment centers that are related to their therapy or treatment.
Provider Support
ProPharma supplies healthcare providers with materials for patient education, such as instructional handouts, demonstration devices, and other support materials to better serve their patients. We also provide other Patient and Commercial Services such as healthcare provider helpline support, sample request triage and fulfillment, as well as many others. ProPharma is dedicated to ensuring that your customers are supported in all avenues.

Rajul Jain
Rajul Jain has over 19 years of international experience in Medical Information (MI), Pharmacovigilance (PV), Technology, and Program Management. With an extensive educational background including an MBA, Engineering degree, PMP, Medical Affairs Competency Certificate (ACMA), and various other healthcare certifications, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her roles. She is currently President of Medical Information in ProPharma with responsibility for oversight and expansion of global contact center operations. Prior to this, she managed all of the MI programs for IQVIA and technology and automation solutions for MI/PV programs. Rajul is passionate about improving business processes and fostering innovative solutions in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry.
Eric Brandon
Eric has spent 30+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with the last 12 years striving to make a difference in Patient Services on the manufacturer side, as a consultant, and as a leader on the supplier side. As Director, Patient Services & Contact Center Operations he leads the strategy and oversight for global and regional Patient Support Programs (PSPs), Commercial Services, Clinical Trial Support, and other Global contact center-based programs.
He has a great passion for supporting patients wherever they are in their clinical trial or treatment journey. Eric inspires his team to focus on the patient and their specific needs to ensure they get the right support throughout their treatment journey, including insurance benefits verification, financial support, device training and support, concierge travel assistance and other innovative services. More importantly, we are here to provide the right level of professional resources to support patients through their treatment journey to ensure their safety and improve their health.
Valerie Huh
Valerie Huh brings over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, with expertise in global operations and process improvements. She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.), a degree in Chemistry, and an MBA with a certificate in business analytics. In her current role, she leads innovation and technology enablement in Medical Information and supports business expansions, driving forward strategic initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
